As far as my opinion is concerned, my blood is not boiling at the thought of what would happen if the Bill is passed, but this particular statement by Fazlur Rehman:

You illiterate idiot, you only have one thing to your credit and that is misinterpreting Islam. This country was founded as a 'secular state'. Despite my skepticism regarding Jinnah's motives, he founded the state by saying that all religions would begiven equality. But no. Push this country down the road to hell, as long as you gain another seat in the parliament and make tons of money. Argh, I'm so furious I can't even write properly. Grrr. sreedhar: yes. pakistan's economy is improving substantially. Inflation's on the increase too, and while that IS a bad thing, inflation comes as a side-affect of economic development.
Finally i believe our country is rising amongst the ashes, but the political parties want the corrupt nawaz and benazir to contest the next elections and ruin the country again. :(
Well regardless of what MMA is doing one thing is for a fact that Sharia is the only law that the Quaid wished for this country. Islam itself is secular in its treatment of other faiths so I dont think you can exactly say that the quaid wished for a secular sate. He envisioned a muslim state that respects all other religions, just like Islam says. A little insight into religion would help in clarifying this to you.
