In the Time 100 Poll 2006 of "The People Who Shape Our World", he is currently ranked at number thirteen. In September of 2006, he became the first sitting president of a country to appear on the The Daily Show.[21].
In a list titled "The World's 10 Worst Dictators" prepared by Parade magazine in 2005, Pervez Musharraf is placed at number 7 in the ranking for the first time, in previous years he never appeared [22]. Another list by New Statesman surveying the all time top 10 world dictators, put Musharraf at #7, ahead of even Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler.
A lot of people ask me why I detest the President - for no reasons other than this: how has the quality of my life improved? I'm not any richer [rather, I keep getting poorer - damn inflation], I'm not healthier [they've cut down all the trees remember?] and I'm not any wiser [our educational system is a farce]. He promised us change, and like sentimental fools, we believed him. Seven years later, I wonder what really was the defining factor that made us change our perspective on the man.

7 yrs is enough time to prove oneself in any field. But then the argument we outsiders get to see is "it will be worse with others". What's your opinion on that?
Let's leave economy figures, do you see progress in basic education & health?
Anyway, good to see you back. :)
