The Great Escape.
BBC and CNN have picked up on the feature on the Afghan War by Hamid Mir, which recently aired on Geo TV. Having seen the feature, I find it hilarious that the Afghan government official has blamed the USA for trusting the wrong people when they were searching for Osama Bin Laden. Please. If the USA had wanted to find Osama, they would have by now. Timing, in this world of murky politics, is key.

This sounds like conspiracy. It's like saying America invaded iraq for oil. Even if it's the case, the purpose is defeated with increase in price of crude.
Israel is a big factor in American decisions. America is trying to contain China. China is trying to encircle India. Europe doesn't like Turkey for religious reasons. America will attack Iran soon. Afghan problem was created by America in first place. ........
Probably we will never know right intentions and probaly there is not really a clear scheme behind things that happen/ didn't happen.
